Codemasters will announce the evolution of racing video games revealing details of Race Driver 2: The Ultimate Racing Simulator at X03, Microsoft's European showcase event for Xbox, on September 16th and 17th.
Race Driver 2: The Ultimate Racing Simulator is now in development at Codemasters' UK studios. The title will launch in 2004 and be a significant gear-change for the award-winning TOCA Race Driver series.

Activision has asked us to inform all the RtCW fans that a v1.02 update patch for their free multiplayer expansion Enemy Territory is going to be released later today. The new patch will adress several client & server side issues as well as weapon fixes include moving Land Mines and Adrenaline needles to separate weapon banks. Made switching to a weapon after dropping dynamite/satchel/landmines easier. Also added ability for Covert Ops/Engineer to pick up weapons from the opposing team of the same class. Fixed some issues with Air Strike detonation. Fixed XP not being given (and stats being kept) for kills with akimbo pistols. Of course we'll have the patch on our file servers as soon as its available so stay tuned!

For the first time an LPGA golfer will be part of the professional golfer line up in Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 2004 from EA SPORTS with the addition of Natalie Gulbis. Gulbis, from Sacramento, Calif., is in her second year on the LPGA TOUR and became the youngest golfer to qualify for an LPGA tournament at age 14, before Michelle Wie broke that record last year. She also finished second at the California State Women's Amateur in 1997.

Logitech today announced that its two newly designed corded controllers for the PlayStation2 are now on retail shelves, ready for prime-time action. The Logitech Extreme Action Controller and the Logitech Action Controller (U.S. suggested retail price of $24.95 and $19.95, respectively) are available at retail outlets and at www.logitech.com.
