Vivendi Universal Games International announced today that the PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC CD-ROM versions of its eagerly awaited 3D action title "Mace Griffin Bounty Hunter" will have a simultaneous street date of September 26th 2003.

You can now sign up on Atari's official beta test web site to test the upcoming free Unreal 2 multiplayer expansion pack. The unreal 2 multiplayer mode is a class-based team game where players fight for control of artifacts and energy using a deadly arsenal of weaponry, vehicles, and defenses. iEntertainment Network announced today that it has signed a deal with Activision Value Publishing, Inc. (AVP) to develop AVP's The History Channel WWII: The Battle of Britain, a new single player game to North American retail outlets in October. The highly anticipated game, WWII: The Battle of Britain, includes a brand new combat terrain with over 270 miles of actual English Channel topography taken from real satellite data, over 40 historically accurate airplanes, and real flight models designed to perfectly match the flying characteristics of World War II aircraft.

Encore today announced that AquaNox 2: Revelation, Cold Zero and Chaser have begun shipping. The PC games, published by Encore with content delivered from Austria-based JoWooD Productions Software, will begin reaching store shelves by the end of this week, retailing for approximately $40 each.

Atlanta Thrashers all-star right winger Dany Heatley has reached an agreement with Electronic Arts to be the cover athlete and spokesman for its EA SPORTS NHL 2004 game. Heatley's image will be featured on NHL 2004 packaging and merchandising.

Atari will bring Terminator 3: War of the Machines, a singleplayer and online multiplayer first person shooter set in the ravaged battlefields of the Tech Com-versus-SkyNet conflict from the Terminator world, to personal computer this winter. Currently in development by Hungary-based Clever's Games, Terminator 3: War of the Machines will allow up to 32 players to face off online as either technologically-advanced SkyNet Terminators or battle-hardened Tech Com Special Forces in an epic multiplayer struggle for supremacy... Sony Online Entertainment Inc. (SOE) announced today that it is finalizing plans to create SOEGames.net , an online game matching service that will allow gamers to find each other and battle it out across the Internet. The first games to take advantage of SOEGames.net will be Lords of EverQuest and Champions of Norrath, two upcoming Sony Online Entertainment titles. SOEGames.net will also be the first game matching system designed to host both console and PC games.

Sony Online Entertainment Inc. today announced development agreements with Lodestone Games LLC and SolWorks to create original gaming content to be published by SOE. Lodestone and SolWorks will be creating two independent, as-yet unannounced games; further product information will be revealed at a later date.
