As expected the new patch for the Unreal engine powered multiplayer shooter America's Army has been released. Right on the heels of its German counterpart, Ubisoft just kicked off
the English/North American part of the Splinter Cell website. The website hosts all kinds of game info, screenshots and videos from this third person action/stealth game. Splinter Cell will be released for Xbox and PC in November.

CDV has just released a demo for their upcoming RTS game, American Conquest. This demo is in german only at this point so take notice of that. If you want to check out this BIG game, be prepared for a BIG demo. It weighs in at a whopping 221mb and allows you to play a mission, in which you are able to play on the side of the spanish invaders against the native Maya tribe. You will be able to get an idea of the detailed graphics as well as on the intense gameplay. A small tutorial at the beginning of the game helps you through the first steps to establish a colony and recruit your men. The demo offers additionally a limited multiplayer mode in which you are able to test the game over a network or the internet.

Electronic Arts announced today that the signup date for the multiplayer test of Command & Conquer Generals has changed. Signups will now begin Friday, Oct. 11 at 8 a.m. PST, and will close at 11:59 p.m. that evening. Command & Conquer Generals will be published by EA under the EA GAMES brand this winter.
Signups will be held through
http://generals.ea.com/. Anyone who signs up for the public test must meet the minimum system requirements to be eligible for selection. Those requirements will be posted on the public test sign up page of the official Command & Conquer Generals Web site.

EA today announced that it has begun to ship in North America its new character-based action game, TY the Tasmanian Tiger for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system, the Xbox video game system from Microsoft and Nintendo GameCube.
