Ubi Soft Entertainment today announced a pre-order program for Catz 5 and Dogz 5, the newest editions of its best-selling Petz family. Petz fans can now pre-order both titles through

Amazon.com reserving their copies for when the games hit North American retail shelves in mid-November. Additionally, Ubi Soft announced that anyone purchasing any two Petz 5 titles (two copies of Catz 5 or Dogz 5, or one of each) can also receive a $10 mail-in rebate. Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell will release in time for the lucrative Christmas 2002 market exclusively on Xbox, with a PC version to appear by the end of the year. Xbox is the lead development platform for the game, which has been designed to take full advantage of the advanced graphics and sound capabilities of Xbox. Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell will also feature online elements using the recently announced Xbox Live service. Cinemaware’s epic game production, Robin Hood: Defender of the Crown is currently in development at the company’s headquarters in Burlingame, California. The product is based on Cinemaware’s hit game Defender of the Crown, first released in 1986 on the Commodore Amiga and subsequently to a variety of platforms where sold over 1,000,000 units worldwide.

For those of you who downloaded the latest demo and can't find on-line servers any more,
here's a small fix. To apply it, just replace the file data/net.cfg found in the Team Factor installation folder. Then you'll be able to play on-line again. And if you fear to do this "dirty stuff" with overwriting files in folders you didn't create, just use the latest Patch 1.06. Its only disadvantage is that it's slightly bigger. You can download
the Team Factor Linux server software. Includes dedicated server option also for LAN (this option was not available in our default Win server software)
