We received a 4MB trailer today from Ubi Soft and their upcoming X-Box/PC title "Splinter Cell". The trailer runs for nearly 2 minutes and showing of some gameplay footage. Splinter Cell is a third person stealth action game featuring cyber-terrorism, shadow agencies, and covert operations, and is set in the realistic, highly detailed geopolitical universe as portrayed by Tom Clancy. The Rocky series of games are based on the movie anthology starring Sylvester Stallone and feature all of the lead characters from the five Rocky films - Apollo Creed, Clubber Lang, Ivan Drago and Tommy Gunn. Rocky is scheduled for simultaneous release on the Sony PS2, Xbox, GameCube and Game Boy Advance in Europe and North America in November 2002. We had some screens up yesterday and today we have 46 more from Rocky vs. Drago, Clubber and Apollo Creed... Njoy!

PC video of gameplay. Prisoner of War is already a massive success on PlayStation 2 and Xbox. The PC edition of the game will be launched on September 27 and carry a RRP of £34.99.

The UNITY Operatives have uncovered several internal confidential memorandums and phone taps revealing that Sierra and Fox Interactive are planning to release the highly anticipated No One Lives Forever 2: A Spy in H.A.R.M.'s Way Demo sometime in the next week! All UNITY Operatives in training have had the chance to face off with the H.A.R.M. Ninjas while overcoming a treacherous tornado on the recent mission to Ohio. The patch fixes and tweaks numerous things in the game aswell as adding custom modifications from Eclzeastes (which is probably the reason why its 37mb!). NovaLogic releases the Delta Force: Black Hawk Down Official Multiplayer Demo, the demo features one multiplayer level and includes day and night settings. The demo is playable over the NovaWorld Games Network and via LAN. The 60 MB file is available on

UPDATE NovaLogic sends word that there is an updated version of the Delta Force Black Hawk Down Demo available that removes the NetQuartz ezpad technology that's been causing problems. Update 11 can be apply by clicking the "update game" button. Word is "once this update has installed, consumers will then be able to uninstall the ezpad technology and play with the demo as normal. To fully uninstall ezpad, right click on the ezpad icon on the task bar, and select quit, then uninstall the software via the ADD/REMOVE Programs option in the control panel."

GoneGold has just reported that the PC version of Codemaster's "Prisoner Of War" just went gold and is due to arrive in stores somewhere next week. Already available on PS2 and Xbox, Prisoner of War is an 'escape adventure' game where "you play the role of Lewis Stone, a US pilot sent on reconnaissance in the midst of World War II, to investigate strange goings-on in the POW camps of Europe. Encore today announced that it has signed an exclusive co-publishing agreement with Phantagram Interactive, an international publisher and distributor of electronic entertainment software, to bring five new videogames and PC games to market. Under this agreement, Phantagram will deliver game content, while Encore will manage sales and distribution in North America. The first of these games will be Phantom Crash, a 3D mech action game scheduled for release by year end on the Xbox.
