A job listing indicates that Arkane Studios has plans for an X360 version of its upcoming action/RPG Dark Messiah of Might & Magic, as it is looking for a lead programmer and project leader for "an upcoming title currently in development on the PC, using the Valve's Source engine, which is already running on Xbox. In Dark Messiah of Might and Magic, players will be introduced to the world of Ashan, the new setting for all future Might & Magic games. id Software's newest chapter in the legendary "Wolfenstein" series will deliver players deep behind the enemy lines of a war-torn Germany, where Nazi experiments with technology and the supernatural threaten to turn the tide of World War II. Utilizing a revolutionary new graphics technology targeted specifically at next-generation hardware, this new "Wolfenstein" experience will draw players into a world of unmatched exploration, action and espionage.

Gun will be a GTA-style game, set in the West in the 1880s, in cities such as Dodge City and New Mexico's Las Vegas. The murderous 'Dodge City Gang' has been on a rampage and you seek revenge, hunting them down between Indians and Mexican pistoleros. Main mode of transportation is any horse you can find or steal, and of course, Gun will include high speed "horse" pursuits.

Midway today announced that Blitz: The League has gone gold and will tackle stores nationwide October 17, 2005. EA, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Comics announced today that Superman Returns: The Videogame is scheduled for a summer 2006 release in conjunction with the Warner Bros. Pictures' film on June 30, 2006. The game, which features storylines from both the movie and more than 60 years of comic book content, is being developed by EA-Tiburon.

Wormicide is back with a humorous vengeance as Majesco today ships Worms 4: Mayhem for the Xbox. Worms 4: Mayhem will also ship for the PC next Tuesday, October 11.

The new game will follow the plot of the original "From Russia with Love" film, including the battle on the Orient Express and the boat chase sequence, but will expand the story with new action sequences. The development team approached the game as a director's cut of the film, which will allow the player to utilize such cool toys as the jetpack and a Q-copter as well as the trusty Walther PPK handgun.
