Trakers is an new online role playing first person shooter that uses the Torque Game Engine "same engine as Tribes 2 use". The screens reminds us a bit of Ghost Recon. Here is a small description from devs about the game:

What makes this game different to other first person shooters is the fact that every player is different. Everyone runs at different speeds, fire weapons in different ways, has different skills, can carry different amounts, etc, etc. The game are getting fairly close to an alpha.

The Star Trek Bridge Commander website has been updated with four new shots with one showing the ship registry decal map for the U.S.S. Dauntless. Several federation ships throughout in the game will now feature registry information. GamingGroove just let us know that FYI: Synaptic Soup (made up of a guy or two from Bullfrog's Dungeon Keeper team from way back when) has updated their (or his rather, as it's Rik Heywood that updates this log) Cipher engine work log. The Cipher engine is the engine powering their upcoming driving game " Crazy Car Championship " (working title), and while I don't care for driving / racing games much, the graphics this engine is capable of are really pretty sharp. Westwood today released two new movies from their upcoming FPS, Command & Conquer: Renegade. Each of these MPEG format movies is just between 9 and 10 megs. Movie #1 '9.2 Mb' here, and movie #2 '9.9 Mb' here.
