EA's director of government affairs Craig Hagen revealed in an
interview with the Orlando Sentinel that after shuttering a new facility, closing Black Box and various other layoffs, it is continuing its cutbacks. Hagen disclosed to the local newspaper that EA Tiburon, known for the Madden NFL and Tiger Woods franchises, will also see reductions in staff, although no specifics were given. EA is not only prepping Spore: Galactic Adventures, where players' space faring creatures will be able to beam down from their spaceships to explore new planets and earn rewards for completing challenging missions, but is also planning new installments. Spore: Hero Arena (NDS) will follow in the footsteps of its Spore Creatures predecessor, while Spore: Hero will be the first title specifically made for the Wii, and focus on avatar creation and adventuring.
