MGS4: Guns of the Patriots is set in a war-torn future where huge conglomerates, including those in the Middle East and South America, fight for supremacy using armies of hand-picked mercenaries. While the actual beta has been available for download for a few days, it seems server issues have delayed the actual start "until further notice," but at the same time extending the test period with a few extra days. Rockstar is bringing its open-ended crime series to the next-gen consoles with Grand Theft Auto IV. While details on the game are still slim, we now know that the franchise returns to New York. A few months ago Take Two promised it would not delay GTA IV from its October 16 release date, but there now seems to have been a change of heart. We won't see the next-gen installment until Q2 2008, which starts February 1st.

German Gamestar magazine, Epic's Jay Wilbur revealed at the Tokyo Game Show that UT 2007 has been further delayed, until Q2/Q3 2007. While Epic never announced an official release date, Sony initially mentioned it was to be a launch title, and while many retailers had it listed for end of the year, a few months ago
The Inquirer reported it was postponed until 2007. Specific reasons for the delay were of course not provided, but it is safe to assume the extra development time will be used to polish the game.
