THQ's fiscal Q3 2007 net sales increased to $475.7 million, up 33% from a year ago, driven by strong sales of WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2007, Cars, Avatar, SpongeBob SquarePants and Destroy All Humans! 2. In the conference call, THQ executives revealed a new Red Faction is in the works, as well as the Stuntman franchise it acquired from Atari. Cars is getting a sequel by end of the year, and WWE Smackdown expands onto PS3, Wii and NDS. In total, 11 new Wii titles are scheduled, and the previously revealed, but yet unannounced, Juiced and MX titles are due in fiscal 2008.

EA today announced its Q3 financial results ending Dec. 31, 2006. Net revenue for the 3rd quarter was $1.28 billion, up a mere 1% compared to last year's $1.27 billion, driven by Madden, but curtailed by higher next-gen development costs and acquisitions. In the conf call afterwards, EA revealed Spore and My Sims are coming to the NDS (in addition to the PC and Wii versions, respectively), and that White council is "on hold," not cancelled.

Ubisoft announced sales for the 3rd quarter of fiscal year 2006-07, which ended December 31, 2006. Revenue increase from €250M to €311M (24% increase), buouyed by the hot sales of Rainbow Six Vegas, Splinter Cell Double Agent, and Red Steel. The results revealed a Blazing Angels expansion (X360/PC), some new Wii (Driver, Turtles, PoP) and PC titles (Driver, RE 4), and the delayed release of Haze, pushed back to at the earliest April.
