For the past week, Square Enix has been
teasing about a new upcoming game, but the latest issues of Shonen Jump and Famitsu beat them to the punch in revealing Four Warriors of Light: Final Fantasy Gaiden for NDS. A turn-based RPG that puts you in the role of a 14-year-old boy on a mission to rescue a princess from a wicked witch, Final Fantasy Gaiden no longer features a menu-based combat system but uses "charges"; you'll team up with others in a four-character squad customizable with a variety of weapons and armor.
Set approx. 10 years after the events of the original, the halls of Rapture once again echo with sins of the past. All along the Atlantic coastline, a monster has been snatching little girls and bringing them back to Rapture. You will play as the first Big Daddy as you travel through the decrepit and beautiful fallen city, chasing an unseen foe in search of answers and your own survival.
