AnJon, Inc., manufacturer and marketer of action figure toys, announced today that it will release its new Dragon's Lair action figures this August in conjunction with the new Dragon's Lair 3D videogame launch. This new release date will better leverage the visibility and excitement generated by the videogame's release. Dirk the Daring, the wizard Mordroc, the princess Daphne, and Singe the Dragon - all key characters in the new Dragon's Lair 3D game - will be among the first action figures released.

Gamedeveloper Trilunar is working on their first "secret" game project and have not yet officially announced it. Anyway, this weekend they tossed up the first glimpse of one of the cool new models they are creating for their first project "The Lava Dragon". Take me there!

3DO Europe today announced the release of a dragon-based WAP game to promote the forthcoming release of Dragon Rage for PS2.

Encore will publish a completely new, 3D version of the tremendously popular Dragon's Lair! Dragon's Lair 3D -- slated for release in third quarter 2002 for the PlayStation2 computer entertainment system and the Nintendo GameCube -- will dramatically expand upon the gameplay that fans have enjoyed since 1983.

JoWood's RPG game Gorasul Legacy of the Dragon is on it's way out to stores. GameSpot reports: The game is set in a medieval fantasy world, and players assume the role of Roszondas, a man who was raised by dragons. Roszondas has a number of special abilities due to his unique upbringing, and he is recruited to fight in an epic war against demons. Gorasul: Legacy of the Dragon was developed by Berlin-based game studio Silver Style, and it will soon be available in stores for an approximate retail price of $29.99.
