Sony, still playing catchup after the recent Playstation Store revamp,
rolled out a new update with the Eye of Judgment Card Expansion Set 2 ($14.99), Call of Duty 4 Variety Map Pack ($9.99), Army of Two SSC Challenge Map Pack ($7.49). Rock Band gets Judas Priest's Screaming for Vengeance album and Motley Crue's Saints of Los Angeles, Guitar Hero III gets the Def Leppard track pack ($6.25), while Karaoke Revolution Presents: American Idol Encore gets downloadable songs for $1.49 each. There are demos for Iron Man and echochrome, as well as the usual slew of game/movie trailers and PS3 themes.

Now that the Playstation Store has been revamped, Sony is
rolled out content anew after a two-week hiatus, starting with Gran Turismo 5 Prologue ($39.99), Warhawk Broken Mirror Pack ($7.99), catching up on over a dozen Rock Band songs, Super Stardust HD Solo ($4.99), Lair - Dragons and Control Pack (2 new dragons and controls patch), a UEFA EURO 2008 demo, and the usual slew of game videos, movies trailers and PS3 Themes.

Director of PlayStation Network Operations Eric Lempel revealed that, at the request of the PS3 community, Sony is working on issueing PlayStation Network Cards, and should start appearing at retailers in early ‘08. The cards will be redeemable via the PlayStation Store for PC, and on the PS3 to supply the wallet with funds to spend on games, add-ons, and other paid content.

Just like on XBL, EA has released the Burnout Paradise demo, and the latest Rock Band Punk song pack ($5.49 or $1.99/song). There were also price reductions ($4.99 instead of $9.99) for several PSN titles, such as Calling All Cars, Everyday Shooter, fl0w and PixelJunk Racers. New PlayStation Eye titles, Operation Creature Feature ($4.99) and Aquatopia ($1.99), were also featured, as were the usual trailers/movies.
