SEGA announced that its Rome: Total War Alexander expansion pack will launch in June, and will only be available for digital download at the budget price of $14.99. Rome: Total War – Alexander brings to life the meteoric rise of one of history's most brilliant generals: Alexander the Great.

Creative Assembly is not only working on Total War Medieval II, but also an official expansion pack for the original Rome: Total War, according to a
preview on C&VG. The addon will feature six new historical battles, all playable in multiplayer, four new factions (Alexander's Macedonian army, The Persians, The Indians and the Barbarians) and roughly 50 new units, such as Theban Sacred band, Indian Elephants, Persian immortals and Indian naked female archers.
