GGMania has posted an edited chat log (colorized HTML version) from a recent ALTAR Interactive IRC chat. Ubi Soft and Sony Online Entertainment Inc. today announced an exclusive publishing agreement to release EverQuest in Mainland China. SOE will bring its already-acquired technological expertise to the partnership while Ubi Soft's online arm, ubi.com, will provide the necessary local infrastructures to host and operate the game.

Computer and video game publisher Gathering of Developers, a subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. and UK-based developer FireFly Studios Ltd today announced that "FireFly Studios' Stronghold: Crusader" for the PC has gone gold. "Stronghold: Crusader" is a dynamic "castle sim" set in a distant Arabian land that combines the finest aspects of the city builder and real-time strategy genres. The game is set to ship late September 2002.

Noticed on GoneGold that the PC version of Infogrames Zapper (developed by Blitz Games) has gone gold and should be shipping to stores soon.
