Gordon Currie, Online Marketing Manager at Dreamcatcher Interactive recently had the opportunity to
Interview Jeff Tobler about the research and inside scoop behind the upcoming release of THE OMEGA STONE: Riddle of the Sphinx 2. Omni Creative Group are developers of the new Adventure Game, THE OMEGA STONE: Riddle of the Sphinx 2. Here is a clip:
Gordon: At E3, you demonstrated The Omega Stone. The textures and detail inside the pyramid ( MAYAN) where awesome. Were these actual textures from pictures you took on the site?
Jeff: Some were photos taken at Chichen Itzá and others were from an extensive library we have at the Omni Creative Group/Omni Adventures studio. It is ideal to go the location and get the textures, but not a necessity. Sometimes it actually works out better to use another texture from an unrelated area. Whatever looks right to our eye is what we use.
