Ubi Soft announced today that it has signed a major new European publishing and support agreement with Sony, to launch localized versions of EverQuest - the world's most successful massively multiplayer online game.

As the multiplayer beta test has already proven a success, all eyes await the single-player missions, which chronicle the events that will forever change the world of Azeroth. Warcraft III will be shown throughout E3, May 22-24, at booth #1200 in the South Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center. With the game near completion, this summer will mark the first time in years that players will be able to return to the Warcraft universe, where Blizzard made its PC debut. For the first time, a Blizzard real-time-strategy game will be rendered in full 3D, allowing a more immersive and compelling experience.

Xbox today announced that Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell from Ubi Soft, a third-person stealth action title based on the Tom Clancy universe and one of the hottest games on show at E3 2002, is a console exclusive for the Xbox video game system from Microsoft in 2002. This "only" means no other consoles will get this game, does 'not' mean no PC version ;)

Thrustmaster announced today that it will produce a range of video game console accessories based on the magical world of Harry Potter™ for the European market.

Raven Software has released the multiplayer SDK for Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix, offering prospective mod authors everything needed to start creating modifications for this new mercenary FPS. Activision and Raven Software just released a new single player demo from Raven's realistic first person shooter, Soldier of Fortune II, that lets you play two levels (Columbian Jungle and Seaward Star) as mercenary-for-hire, John Mullins. The demo is nifty 136.9 MB to grab and you find it over at Fileplanet!

Gathering of Developers (subsidiary of Take2) and Croatian-based based development team Croteam announce that Serious Sam, a landmark title in the first person shooter video game genre, will now be available on the Xbox platform.

Zapper is an action-packed and addictive game that starts with the “avoid-em-up” game play mechanics of Blitz Games’ own Frogger 2: Swampy’s Revenge, and then takes the action to a whole new level. In this action-adventure game, Zapper (a cricket) hops his way through six interactive worlds in a quest to find his brother, held captive by the evil magpie queen. Dangerous traps and even more dangerous enemies await Zapper. It will take fast-footed skill and timing to conquer all the worlds and survive the final showdown with the magpie queen.

We got some good looking E3 screens from Microsoft's upcoming titles, 'Age of Mythology' and 'Freelancer'.

"Age of Mythology " transports players to a time when heroes battled with monsters of legend and gods intervened in the affairs of mortal men.

“Freelancer” is an epic space adventure that combines a deep storyline.

Tiscali have posted a new Rainbow Six: Raven Shield E3 trailer, which contains three minutes of in-game footage from this Unreal-powered tactical shooter from UbiSoft. This 12 MB DivX version is available for download here. They also posted the E3 video from Rise of Nations, upcoming real-time strategy from Microsoft and Big Huge Games. Its 4.5MB big, contains 1 minute of gameplay scenes and it's available in WMV here!

Ubi Soft today announced a licensing agreement with Eidos for Tomb Raider on Game Boy ® Advance. With the new two-year agreement, Ubi Soft acquires exclusive worldwide development and publishing rights for 'Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Prophecy' for the Game Boy Advance. The game will be released this Christmas.

Revving up its engines to deliver the smash sequel to its 600,000 unit-selling franchise, Acclaim today announced it will release ATV: Quad Power Racing 2 across all next-generation systems this coming winter. Currently under development with Climax Studios, ATV Quad Power Racing 2 will feature an entirely new game engine that will deliver rich graphics and incredible four-wheel arcade action.

Codemasters is going strong with their lineup and now we got 15 screens from The Bitmap Brothers' WWII RTS (Pc) as well as 17 Xbox screens from LMA Manager 2003. Especially those WW2 screens are very impressive... *drool*

Ecks vs. Sever PlayStation 2 is being developed by Seattle-based Zombie Studios. The movie, due in theatres this November, stars Antonio Banderas and Lucy Liu. Building on the release of last fall’s critically acclaimed Ecks vs. Sever for Game Boy Advance®, Ecks vs. Sever PlayStation 2 is anticipated to be available this November shortly after the release of the movie.
