Square Enix and Buena Vista Games announced that their Kingdom Hearts series of action role-playing games has shipped more than 10 million units worldwide, making it one of the top game series in the world.

Due to SimBin growth strategy a new studio was opened in Falun, Sweden, on Jan. 24. The new studio was opened by the cutting of the ribbon at the opening ceremony in front of a 100 guests. Falun has one of the top Game Developer schools (Tension Graphics) in the Nordic region, and the new studio is to develop full game productions for a specific platform, and is already fully occupied in a project where more information will be revealed over time.

Mercury Meltdown Revolution is a brain-teasing puzzle game that challenges players to immerse themselves in a colorful world of sci-fi machines, crazy characters, and bubbling test tubes.

Ubisoft announced Blazing Angels: Secret Missions, the follow-up to the squadron-based flight combat game Blazing Angels Squadrons of WWII. Blazing Angels: Secret Missions shows World War II from a different perspective, that of an elite pilot who is part of a secret team.

BioShock is 2K Games' hybrid first-person shooter, in the works over at System Shock 2 developers Irrational Games, combining elements of sci-fi and role-playing genres.
