Last week MadMinute Games announced it was no longer partnering with Activision Value, and today MMG let us know that it has joined forces with Naval Warfare Simulations to publish their next game in the Take Command Series. Current plans have MMG announcing the title and release date in October 2005. NWS has a very successful online computer game store where they specialize in war games. NWS has long been the favorite store for purchasers of CWBR, providing very reasonable shipping rates and prices.

JoWood's previous press statements regarding development of the Stargate game and is claiming to be MGM's official licensee on Stargate SG-1: The Alliance. Any suggestion that JoWooD has rights to Stargate SG-1: The Alliance upon termination of the contract is incorrect and not based on commercial or legal fact. German publisher dtp announced today that it has signed an agreement with Independent Arts, known for games such as Against Rome, and Warcommander, for its newest game International Sport Shooting 2006. Not many details were revealed yet, but Independent Arts said ISS 2006 will feature several disciplines, amonst others skeet shooting, various rifle and gun classes, while factors such as wind and respiration will add to the realistic nature of the game, currently scheduled for October 2005.

multiplayer details announcement yesterday stirred up a bit of a ruckus due to the lack of any deathmatch support, and today fan site Seriously!
received confirmation from developer Croteam it will release a patch after the game's initial launch that will add/enable multiplayer deathmatch. Whether this was initially plannend or due to fanbase pressure was not specified.
