Championship Manager Online is a stand-alone massive multiplayer online football management simulation. As well as testing your managerial skills against thousands of human opponents, the game offers a "buddy league" mode that lets you compete in a league against just your friends. Championship Manager Online is being developed by online games specialist Jadestone in conjunction with Beautiful Game Studios, developer of the PC version of Championship Manager.

Rising Star Games has launched an all out assault on the Nintendo DS with a completely new version of the most recognised videogame of all time. Space Invaders Revolution, as the name suggests, marries the vintage game play of the legendary shoot-'em up with the exciting new possibilities offered by the unique features of the Nintendo DS.

Today Ubisoft announces that it will be developing a series of sports titles, making its debut as a publisher of sports videogames. Its entrance will be propelled by several worldwide licensing agreements and acquisitions. Ubisoft has signed an exclusive license with Vijay Singh, the No.1 ranked golf player in the world, to produce a Vijay Singh-titled golf game. The company has also acquired the team sports assets from Microsoft Game Studios.

Microsoft today announced that Hironobu Sakaguchi, video game legend and president of Mistwalker game studio, has joined with Microsoft Game Studios to develop role-playing game (RPG) video games exclusively for the next-generation Xbox video game platform. Sakaguchi is best known as the creator of the "Final Fantasy" franchise.

Got Game Entertainment today announced that it has reached a co-publishing agreement with Merscom to bring Heretic Kingdoms: The Inquisition to North American retail. Heretic Kingdoms: The Inquisition, known in Europe as Kult: Heretic Kingdoms, is an isometric role playing game that combines an engaging, unconventional story with immersive game mechanics.
