Koei Ltd. today announced plans to publish Dynasty Warriors 4 Hyper for the PC in Europe, a first for the series and will see the spectacular massed battles that the Dynasty Warriors games are famed for brought to a whole new audience. The European release of Dynasty Warriors on PC is scheduled for the 9th December.

Digital Illusions announced today that it has signed a new contract with EA for the development of a PC game within the shooter genre. The game is based on Digital Illusions’ brand, will be developed by DICE Stockholm and is planned for a fall 2006 debut. A specific title is not yet revealed, and will be disclosed at a later date. DICE also announced that the PSP version of BF 2: Modern Combat has been put on hold due to lack of personnel, and it is not certain if and when development will continue (thanks bfnation). Epic Games announced today that it has licensed OC3 Entertainment's facial animation technology FaceFX for use in Epic Games' Unreal Engine 3, making it available to all Unreal Engine 3 licensees. Epic Games will use the FaceFX product in their upcoming titles Gears of War and Unreal Tournament 2007 to create emotive characters and cinematic-quality dialogue sequences.

FATE is an RPG in which the quests are fast and fun with richly detailed artwork, 3D graphics and interactive content delivered exclusively via download. Earlier this week FATE developer Travis Baldree announced that he left WildTangent Friday the 7th, on totally amicable terms, for a job that allows him a unique opportunity to spend more time with my family. 2K Games informed us that a second Serious Sam II demo will be released this Monday at 10 AM! The new level incorporates the recently released patch (fixing issues with the interface + multiplayer), and includes an additional level from the full game that can be played in both single and co-op multiplayer! For those who already have the full game, the level is "Greendale". We will of course have it available on our fileserver network at the aforementioned time.
