No time to watch TV shows today! The time flew by and there are too many things to do, but with the weekend ahead of us, we'll have plenty of time to catch up on recorded stuff.
From what Adam told me, last night's
Left 4 Dead 2 event was pretty fun, and in case you haven't checked the
Doug Lombardi interview yet, get to it!
We're not sure if it had any effect on the public-facing part of the site, but during the past week or so, we suddenly started having some issues with the CMS. For some reason, the Web server was timing out and not responding anymore. After a few changes that improved things but didn't fix the issue, Ricky decided to use a new, experimental Web server — the same tech that Facebook uses — and not only did it resolve the problem, but the back-end is also noticeably much faster. All hail Ricky!

Wow, that was quite the
shipping day yesterday. Lots of good titles this week. My personal favorites are Op. Flashpoint 2, Demon's Souls and Republic Heroes (something about the art style), but I'm sure there will be a few stragglers later this week as well.
We finished off "Crank 2" today, that movie is so absurd and over the top that it was actually semi-entertaining. It's not as good as the first one, but they sure went all out with the weirdness.
Our DVR had a snafu and for some reason only recorded half of "House" and "NCIS," so we ended up watching the new "Castle," with our personal hero
Nathan Fillion! Sunday's episode of "Entourage" was also quite good; the Matt Damon "Jason Bourne" cameo was very entertaining, especially the bit after the credits.

Alan Wake developers Remedy Entertainment might soon be coming up with
a new project as it has
filed a new trademark for "Death Rally." No further information is known, and speculations whether it might concern a remake of its 1996 top-down racer are just that, but the filing does indicate it might be a downloadable title, either for a Good Old Games/Steam re-release or maybe a PSN/XBLA remake, as it makes mention of "printed instructions or printed hint manuals sold therewith as a unit."
