Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords for the PC has officially shipped and will slash its way into stores on February 10, 2005. The highly anticipated next chapter successfully launched December 6, 2004 on Xbox. The Sith Lords picks up five years after the events of the original KOTOR and features an all-new perilous storyline, as well as new characters, classes, locations and force powers. The development team of Star Wars Galaxies announced the launch of the Veteran Player Reward Program! Players of the game will be rewarded on their three month, six month and 12 month anniversaries with their choice of various very cool and impossible to get any other way in-game items. Starting next week, when a three month veteran player next logs in, they will have the opportunity to choose from a number of items, including a useful reward like a self-powered harvester or a fun item like a R2 droid miniature replica collectible.

Star Wars: Imperial Assault is a Star Wars mod for EA's RTS Command & Conquer: Generals - Zero Hour. Its intent is to bring the excitement of Star Wars ground battles, atmospheric air battles, and Jedi/Sith to the CnC Generals Zero Hour engine. This "demo" includes Imperial Assault menu screen and interface with shell map, and demo mission. Skirmish and Multiplayer play are disabled.

Sony Online Entertainment today announced the addition of LucasArts' Star Wars Galaxies to the Station Access subscription plan. Now, all SOE-developed massively multiplayer online games are available to subscribers for US$21.99 per month. Star Wars Galaxies will be added to Station Access on Feb. 1, 2005.
