Galactic Civilizations II Gold is the retail version of GalCiv 2 and the Dark Avatar expansion, eliminating of two of the game’s alien races but introducing several new ones. This demo includes all features from the game+ expansion, but restricted to 150 turns, medium-Sized Galaxies Only, hard coded to the mid-range settings on all setup options, no scenarios, no custom maps, and playable up to 4 players per game (i.e. 3 computer-controlled).

Namco's Ace Combat 6 is coming to the Xbox 360, a franchise previously only on PS2 and PSP. Currently scheduled for later this year, AC6 will be larger in scale, cover more terrain than ever before, and feature a slew of Xbox Live multiplayer modes such as Battle Royale, Team Battle, co-op, including achievements and rankings.

Opera and Nintendo today confirmed that the Opera-powered Internet Channel for Wii will be available in somewhere April 2007, rather than in late March as previously announced. Opera and Nintendo are continuing to finalize what promises to be the ultimate Web surfing experience on the Wii console. The two companies are working closely together to meet user requests for browser features and to enhance the overall Wii Web experience.

A letter from The Venezuelan Solidarity Network addressed to U2's Bono, board member of Pandemic/BioWare's venture capital firm, voicing their concern that the realistic nature, and the ability to destroy everything, of Mercs 2 will deepen an already antagonistic relationship between the U.S. and Venezuelan governments.
