Reuters is reporting that Sony is on track to double the number of PSP's sold in North America to around 6 million at the end of its first holiday season this year. Although nowhere near the appeal of Apple's iPods, the paperback-sized video game device has increasingly won over movie fans, citing its long load times and akward mini joystick as drawbacks.

Rule of Rose is a creepy looking survival/horror game set in the 1930's England. You play as 19 year old Jennifer, and stumble into a world where the rules are written by children, seemingly innocent children, but with a sadisctic mindset. Your job is to get to the truth, solve puzzles & mysteries. Rule of Rose is scheduled for release in Japan January 19, 2006 but no Euro or US dates are available yet.

Auto Assault combines vehicular combat with role-playing elements. Players explore a post-apocalyptic future in customizable cars, motorcycles, semis and even tanks. Players battle other players both in arenas and in epic race vs. race wars for control of the regions in a devastated Earth.

Valve lastest Steam Update has a few details on what to expect before the end of 2005. Next week Valve will release two new player models, one for each team, released for Counter-Strike: Source, as well as an update to Day of Defeat: Source, which will include a number of small changes. Early next year we can expect a completely rebuilt version of cs_milita. There is also a mention of Introversion's strategy/adventure Darwinia's four IGF nominations.

Originally scheduled for end of 2005, the official website indicates it has now been pushed back to "early 2006." SiN Episodes features the highly anticipated return of Elexis Sinclaire, the world's most dangerous and seductive biochemist, and the only man who stands in her way, John R. Blade. Fantasy Earth: Ring of Domination is Square Enix's latest MMORPG which will try to combine RTS, RPG and Action, allowing you to forge alliances, build fortresses and citadels and duke it out with your allies against huge armies. Originally announced in 2004, Fantasy Earth has recently entered its beta phase and is scheduled for released in Japan on February 23.
